Sylvie Soucy

Sylvie Soucy was appointed Chief Audit Executive on February 6, 2012. She joined CSC in September 2009 as Director of Audit and took on additional responsibilities in March 2011 as Acting Chief Audit Executive.

A native of Edmundston, New Brunswick, and a graduate of the Université de Moncton with a bachelor in Economics and a Masters in Public Administration, Ms. Soucy has worked in the Public Service since 1988. In September of that year, she joined the Office of the Auditor General where she progressed from a junior auditor to the executive level, gaining extensive experience in audit, evaluation, risk management and general management practices.

Ms. Soucy occupied various executive positions in several federal organisations including Human Resources Development Canada, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, and Service Canada. Ms. Soucy is a Certified Internal Auditor.
