Why was this policy changed?
The above-noted CD was modified to incorporate the Standard Operating Practices (SOP) 760 – Arts and Crafts, and as a result of the Commissioner’s Directives Standardization Project.
What has changed?
The format of the Commissioner’s Directive has been updated in order to comply with the new format for national policies pursuant to the Commissioner’s Directives Standardization Project. In addition, modifications have been made to incorporate the SOP 760 – Arts and Crafts, which has now been revoked.
How was it developed?
The Correctional Operations and Programs Sector revised this policy with the Strategic Policy Division and held full consultations with internal and external stakeholders.

Who will be affected by the policy?
All staff involved in social programs, leisure activities, hobby craft, and special events.
