Express Lane Staffing (ELS)

Overview

Express Lane is a simple interactive web site for managers that standardizes, simplifies, and expedites our low-risk staffing process and actions requiring limited HR consultation. The targeted staffing actions are:

• Assignments/secondments without relocation or traveling costs
• Casual employment
• External and internal non-advertised deployment without relocation costs
• Student employment
• Term extensions: extensions beyond 18 months will not be included in order to avoid potential rollover, unrealistic expectations, etc.
• Short-term acting appointments (less than 4 months)
• Subsequent acting appointments

This web-based self-service approach enables managers to place requests online for low-risk staff needs in the above mentioned categories.
