Cross-Cultural and Race-Relations Training

Canadians are committed to building a society that respects and values differences and where everyone is entitled to equal opportunities without fear of discrimination on the basis of colour, culture, ethnic or national origin. Cross-Cultural and Race-Relations Training is an effective way in which these goals are met. Training is designed to sensitize offenders and staff to different cultures and to foster cross-cultural awareness.

This training is currently being offered. Information can be obtained from Human Resources Division in all correctional facilities and staff colleges.
