About the Institution

Shepody Healing Centre is a multi-level security facility located in Dorchester, New Brunswick. It shares a property with Dorchester Penitentiary and Westmorland Institution. It is one of five regional treatment centres operated by CSC.

The Shepody Healing Centre has two 20-bed psychiatric units, and 10 transition beds located within Dorchester Penitentiary. The Centre provides in-patient, out-patient emergency, as well as consultative services to other facilities within the Atlantic Region.

As part of CSC's efforts to encourage inmates to become law-abiding citizens, CSC offers various national correctional programs.
