Access To Information and Privacy (ATIP)

The personal information that CSC may share publicly is limited as subject to the:

• Young Offenders Act,
• Access to Information Act, and
• Privacy Act

Members of the media should familiarize themselves with CSC Commissioner’s Directive #022 on Media Relations, which ensures that CSC balances the need to provide information while respecting legislated limitations of what we may discuss publicly.
