Inmate Protest Ends at Collins Bay Institution

Kingston, Ontario, January 18, 2013 – Inmates at Collins Bay Institution ended their peaceful protest Thursday January 17th, 2013. The inmates had refused to attend any of their correctional programs, work activity, or educational programs.

As part of our commitment to responsible operational planning, CSC is taking steps to ensure we have the tools necessary to meet emerging offender needs.

Collins Bay Institution continues to operate on a normal routine.
