End of Lockdown and Exceptional Search at Collins Bay Institution

Kingston, Ontario, March 11, 2013 – The lockdown and search at Collins Bay Institution initiated on February 28, 2013 has concluded. At approximately 2300 hours, on March 7, 2013, the institution returned to normal operations.

Visits to the institution have been re-instated.

The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) works to ensure the continued safety and security to the public, staff and inmates.
