Recapture of Inmate from Beaver Creek Institution

Gravenhurst, Ontario, April 30, 2013 – At approximately 1045 hours on April 30, 2013 inmate Luigi Boni was apprehended without incident by the Ontario Provincial Police Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad. This inmate had been unlawfully at large from Beaver Creek Institution since April 28, 2013.

CSC and Beaver Creek Institution will be conducting a joint investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Ensuring the safety and security of institutions, staff, and public remains the highest priority in the operations of the federal correctional system.
