Warrant Expiry Date (WED) Release of Karla Teale (Homolka)
As of today, Karla Teale/Homolka is no longer under the jurisdiction of the Correctional Service of Canada.
In collaboration with our partners in the criminal justice system, the Correctional Service of Canada has released Karla Teale/Homolka.
As part of the criminal justice system, the Correctional Service of Canada administers court-ordered sentences of more than two years. However, we no longer have legal jurisdiction once an offender reaches the last day of their sentence.
