CORONER’S INQUEST INTO THE DEATH OF ASHLEY SMITH
Ottawa, Ontario, May 16, 2011 – A Coroner’s inquest into the death of Ashley Smith at Kitchener’s Grand Valley Institution in 2007 is scheduled to start on May 16, 2011, in Toronto.
The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) will have a dedicated media relations officer on-site in Toronto and a dedicated phone line and email address have been established to facilitate media enquiries throughout the course of the inquest.
