FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CAMPBELLFORD, ON, April 8, 2004 - At approximately 0800 hrs, April 8, 2004 a note was found in the outgoing mail at Warkworth Institution indicating that there were several bombs planted within the institution. As soon as CSC officials were made aware of the threat, steps were taken to ensure staff and offender safety. The institution is currently locked down while a threat assessment is completed.
