FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LOCK-DOWN AT WARKWORTH INSTITUTION UPDATE
CAMPBELLFORD, Ontario, August 25, 2004 - On Thursday, August 19th, 2004 information was received from various sources that there was contraband in the institution.
With the assistance of institutional staff and detection dogs, a thorough threat assessment has been completed. There has been nothing out of the ordinary found therefore, the institution will return to normal routine today.
CSC is confident that all measures taken will ensure the safety of the public, staff and inmates.
