FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DEATH AT BATH INSTITUTION
KINGSTON, ON, May 9, 2005 - On May 9, 2005 at approximately 0150 hrs. Bath Institution inmate Christian Manly Thompson died of natural causes at Kingston General Hospital.
Mr. Thompson was serving a life sentence for first degree murder. He was sentenced on September 07, 1978, in London, Ontario.
Mr. Thompson was eligible for day parole on February 16, 2000, and full parole on February 16, 2003.
Next of kin have been notified.
A Coroner's inquest will be held at a future date.
