FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

KINGSTON, ON, March 13, 2006 - In the early afternoon of March 11, 2006 inmate Ronald Corbett died at the Kingston Penitentiary Regional Hospital. The Coroner attended and declared the inmate dead of natural causes, and the family was notified.

Ronald Corbett was 72 years old and was serving a life sentence for second degree murder. His sentence commenced on May 4, 1994.

In accordance with CSC policy an investigation will be undertaken.
