FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

KINGSTON, ON, November 26, 2007 - On Saturday November 24, 2007, three packages containing a total of 60 grams of marijuana and 20 pills of 100 mgs morphine were recovered from a visitor prior to a visit with an inmate housed at Kingston Penitentiary, a maximum-security federal penitentiary.

The institutional value of the contraband is approximately $8,000.

The police were contacted and criminal charges are pending.
