FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BRAMPTON, ON, January 31, 2008 - January 30th, 2008 a federal offender died of apparent gun shot injuries. Constantin Alevizos, a 44-year old offender was pronounced dead at a community hospital, after succumbing to his injuries. He was serving 3 years for conspire to commit an indictable offence (trafficking). His warrant expiry date was February 6, 2010.

Next of kin have been notified.

The Peel Regional Police are investigating and CSC will complete a review of the circumstances leading to this incident.
