FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

DEATH AT THE REGIONAL TREATMENT CENTRE (ONTARIO)

KINGSTON, ON, October 1, 2008 - On Friday, September 26, 2008, at approximately 1655 hours, an inmate from the Regional Treatment Centre (Ontario) died of natural causes. Kevin Blakemore was a patient at Kingston General Hospital at the time of his death.

Offender Blakemore's family has been notified.

Kevin Blakemore was 49 years old and serving an indeterminate (life) sentence for attempted murder.
