FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CONTRABAND AT FENBROOK INSTITUTION

Gravenhurst, ON, November 26, 2008 - On November 26, 2008, a Correctional Officer performing a routine fence walk discovered a plastic football between the Security fences that surround Fenbrook Institution. Further Investigation of the interior of the football resulted in a contraband find of tobacco, pills and marijuana.

No inmates have been identified as being involved at this time. An investigation is ongoing.

Preventing drugs from entering our institutions is an ongoing challenge; however, it is the diligent work of staff that helps us tackle this challenge.
