Ottawa, ON– Correctional Service Canada will be relocating the Ottawa Parole Office. Through a tendering process, Correctional Service Canada and Public Works and Government Services Canada have identified 1010 Somerset Street and 831 Industrial Avenue as potential sites for the office’s new location.
Correctional Service Canada is committed to taking into consideration the concerns and views of the community prior to relocating the parole office. Members of the public and the media are welcome to learn more about the role of the Parole Office in the community and provide comments via an Online Consultation tool at http://www.csc-scc.gc.ca/consultation until April 1, 2009, or by attending Town Hall meetings taking place as follows:
For the 1010 Somerset Street site:
Monday, March 30, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.
The Bronson Centre, 211 Bronson Avenue, Ottawa, ON
For the 831 Industrial Avenue site:
Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.
The Chimo Hotel, 1199 Joseph Cyr Street, Ottawa, ON
