Lockdown at Millhaven Institution

Bath, Ontario, October 14, 2010 - On Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at approximately 09:00 p.m. all inmates in Millhaven Institution were placed under lockdown status.

The institution has been locked down to facilitate a search of the facility.

The facility will reopen once institutional management determines that it is safe to do so. All visits for inmates in the Institution have been cancelled until further notice.

CSC works to ensure the continued safety and security of the public, staff and inmates.
