FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

DEATH BY NATURAL CAUSES AT KINGSTON PENITENTIARY

Gravenhurst, Ontario, June 14, 2011- On June 12, 2011, James Lawrence HUTCHISON, a Beaver Creek Offender who was receiving medical care in Kingston Ontario, passed away of natural causes at the Regional Hospital located within Kingston Penitentiary.

At the time of his death, HUTCHISON (83 years old) was serving an indeterminate sentence for First Degree Murder and Attempt Theft Under.  His sentence commenced April 12, 1966.

Next of kin have been notified.

As in all cases where an individual dies while in custody, the police and coroner are called in to investigate the circumstances.
