FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

END TO LOCKDOWN - WARKWORTH INSTITUTION

Warkworth, Ontario, October 28, 2011  - The lockdown at Warkworth Institution initiated October 23, 2011 has concluded.  The institution has now returned to normal operations.

Visits to the institution have been re-instated.

The Correctional Service of Canada works to ensure the continued safety and security to the public, staff and inmates.
