FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MISSION, B.C., October 12, 2004 - Federal offender Gerald O'Grady, who was serving a life sentence which commenced in 1997 for second-degree murder, died of natural causes October 9 in a local hospital. He was 81-years-old

Mr. O'Grady had been serving his sentence at minimum-security Ferndale Institution in Mission, BC.
