FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ABBOTSFORD, BC, November 18, 2005 - A 32 year old Regional Treatment Centre inmate died of natural causes after a lengthy illness.

Travis Morawski was pronounced dead in a community hospital after being transported there by ambulance on November 17, 2005.

Mr. Morawski was serving a three year sentence for robbery. His sentence commenced in January 2004.

Next of kin have been notified.

The Regional Treatment Centre and Pacific Institution are co-located in Abbotsford. The facility includes a 20-bed medical hospital, 96-bed psychiatric hospital, 96-bed rehabilitation unit, 127-bed program unit and a 96-bed Regional Reception and Assessment Centre.
