MISSION, BC, December 18, 2005 - A federal offender escaped from Ferndale Institution Sunday, December 18, 2005. Thomas Schram was noticed missing at approximately 16:00 hours. RCMP were notified and attended the institution.
Mr. Schram is a 33-year old caucasian male with blue eyes, brown hair, and a fair complexion. He weighs 84 kg (186 lbs) and stands 175 cm (5' 9") tall.
He is serving a two year and five months sentence for possession of property obtained by crime and unauthorized possession of a firearm. His sentence commenced September 13, 2005.
His full parole eligibility date is July 4, 2006. His day parole and unescorted temporary absence eligibility date is March 13, 2006. His statutory release date is April 24, 2007 and his warrant expiry date is February 12, 2008.
Ferndale Institution is a minimum-security institution located in Mission.
