FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

INMATE FROM GRIERSON INSTITUTION UNLAWFULLY AT LARGE

Edmonton AB, June 2, 2010 - On June 1, 2010, Dustin Charles HIEBERT was found to be Unlawfully at Large at approximately 1010 hours when he failed to report for work in accordance with his authorized Work Release.

HIEBERT, aged 29, is currently serving a seven year and two month sentence for Robbery (x6). His sentence commenced on November 16, 2006 and his warrant expiry date is January 15, 2014.

HIEBERT has blue eyes, dark hair, and a fair complexion. He stands 6’1”-feet tall and weighs 181 pounds.

The authorities have been notified and the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) will continue to work with the police in an effort to locate the offender as quickly as possible. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of HIEBERT is asked to contact their local police department.

CSC will review the circumstances surrounding the incident and will take action where necessary.

Grierson Institution is a federally operated minimum security institution currently accomodating 30 inmates.
