FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SUSPICIOUS PARCEL AT PORT CARTIER INSTITUTION UPDATE
PORT CARTIER, QC, September 23, 2004 - The examination conducted by Sûreté du Québec of the suspicious parcel discovered at Port Cartier Institution yesterday has revealed that it contained no explosives.
The security perimeter set up inside the institution was lifted around 10:30 p.m., and the institution's regular activities have resumed.
