58. It is recommended that all levels of management be held accountable for their actions or lack of same. Senior managers who are found to be ineffective should be provided with additional training, retrained, demoted or dismissed.

CSC'S RESPONSE:

CSC has an accountability structure in place, which includes specific accountabilities for the management of institutions. Performance problems are detected and dealt with on an individual basis. In some instances, additional training and development are used to rectify problems. Other corrective action could include reassignment to other positions, demotion or dismissal. This structure of accountability applies to all CSC employees.
