Collins Bay Institution is a medium security facility in Kingston, Ontario, located on a federal reserve along with Frontenac Institution. Collins Bay opened in 1930 and can accommodate up to 217 inmates.
Inmates are housed in three units (including a segregation unit) and a transition unit.
The Institution provides a variety of programs, such as training, professional (industrial) training, personal and social, recreational and chaplaincy programs, as well as various external placements.
