About the Institution
The Federal Training Centre is a minimum-security facility, located in Laval, Quebec. It opened in 1952 and can accommodate 375 inmates.
Inmates are housed in five living units and two closed units.
Academic instruction takes up the largest share of the institution's programs. There are also programs for living skills and for substance abuse.
