About the InstitutionBowden

The Grierson Centre is a minimum-security facility located in the Grierson Complex in Edmonton, Alberta and is the first urban facility. It opened in 1998 and can accommodate up to 30 inmates.

The Centre offers various programs, together with a range of substance abuse control programs. Programs for Aboriginal offenders are also available through the Stan Daniels Healing Centre.
