Norway
CSC has been working with the Norwegian Prison and Probation Department for several years now, in the Programs area.
Norway has been using CSC's previous version of the substance abuse programs (OSAPP), and in January 2006, expressed an interest in receiving CSC's manuals for the National Substance Abuse Program (NSAP).
The decision was made in December 2006 to translate and implement the new NSAP programs. Trainers from Norway will attend NSAP training in June 2007, in the Pacific Region, to learn the new programs. Norwegian trainers will conduct their first NSAP training in August 2007 to begin the transition from OSAPP to NSAP.
