Figure A 1: Frequency of Meetings between the In-reach Workers and Institutional Staff Members

Note. The data presented in this figure were extracted from the regional and annual reports provided by the Citizen Engagement Branch. The data include case management meetings to review files/exchange information and meetings to facilitate acceptance of the in-reach services.

This bar chart displays the frequency of meetings between the in-reach workers and institutional staff members by region for the years 2006/07 and 2007/08. The program data is presented by five regions: Atlantic, Quebec, Ontario, Prairie, and Pacific. Overall for fiscal year 2006/07, the Prairie region had the most meetings between in-reach workers and institutional staff members, with 1158 meetings followed by Pacific with 296, Atlantic with 206, Ontario with 51, and Quebec with 19. For fiscal year 2007/08, Atlantic held the most meetings with 168, followed by Pacific with 125, Quebec with 119, Prairie with 45, and Ontario with 44.
