22. It is recommended that all employees of the Correctional Service of Canada continue to receive training in anti-racism, cultural awareness and harassment.

CSC'S RESPONSE:

CSC will continue its practice of providing this training to all its employees.

The current policy, Commissioner's Directive #255 (Harassment and Other Forms of Discrimination in the Workplace), stipulates that anti-harassment training is mandatory for all employees.

In addition to the mandatory training, information sessions are regularly offered on issues of cultural awareness and anti-racism.
