48. It is recommended that the Situation Report contain an attention box with a warning that officers fill out reports independently.

CSC'S RESPONSE:

CSC concurs and will amend the standard report form to include such an attention box. Wording will be to the effect that officers are to complete the reports independently and that any collusion in the preparation of such reports will be subject to disciplinary action.

In addition, a Security Bulletin has been issued to reinforce this requirement.
