Awards Ceremony at Springhill Institution

In May 2004 Springhill Institution hosted an awards ceremony at St. Andrew's Wesley United Church to honour retirees, as well as long service and exemplary service medal and bar recipients. Over 50 awards were given to those wishing a formal presentation.

The newly appointed Deputy Commissioner for the Atlantic Region, Marena McLaughlin, was guest speaker and made the presentations. Following the ceremony, recipients, guests and staff members enjoyed refreshments and a delicious luncheon prepared by the Food Services Staff.
