Recognition Awards For Results Trainers

Staff members from the Atlantic Region were recognized as the latest facilitators in the Leadership for Results training program on June 23. Arden Thurber, Director of Learning and Development and Paulette Arsenault, Acting Assistant Deputy Commissioner, Corporate Services, were on hand to present certificates to Dan Thibodeau, Atlantic Institution, Debbie Eason, Springhill Institution, Susan McCarthy, Regional Staff College, Paulette Gaudet, Regional Staff College, Faith McIntyre, Regional Headquarters, and Bob Thompson, Kentville Area Office.

Since 1989 the region has utilized Leadership for Results and its predecessors - Leadership 2000 and FrontLine Leadership - to provide training to front-line supervisors. Currently, the initial six sessions of the program are offered and, upon completion, the staff member receives the Atlantic Region Leadership Development Program certificate.

One hundred and fifty employees have successfully completed or are currently enrolled in this leadership training that has been ongoing since 1989.
