What is new/changed?

Technical amendments/reformatting have been made to:
Commissioner's Directive 085 - Correspondence and Telephone Communication;
Commissioner's Directive 542 - International Transfers;
Commissioner's Directive 767 - Ethnocultural Offender Programs.

Why was the policy changed?

The format of the policies has been altered to reflect the renewal of the policy framework.

In the case of CD 085, Correspondence and Telephone Communication, paragraph 26 was amended to better reflect reality.

The Annex A of CD 542, International Transfers has been updated to reflect the current countries Canada has agreements with.

What is the purpose of the policy change?

The Commissioner has requested that all policies be reviewed and submitted to her for resignature.

How was it developed?

These policies have been identified by ACCOP as having no outstanding issues. They were presented to the EXCOM Policy Committee for review and approval.
