COMMISSIONER'S DIRECTIVE 760 - LEISURE ACTIVITIES

A technical amendment has been made which in part responds to security issues raised by the National Labour Management Committee regarding the use of EXACTO knives.

As per Policy Bulletin 250 (May 19, 2008), a new paragraph (no. 4) has been added to the CD. To mitigate the potential risk of harm to offenders and staff, offenders housed in maximum-security institutions no longer have access to EXACTO knives in their cells for hobbycraft activites.

The rest of the CD remains the same.
