Why was the policy changed?

Technical amendments were made to reflect the changes to the institutional structure.

What is new/changed?

• Paragraph 18: "Unit Managers" and "Team Leaders" were replaced with "Correctional Managers".
• The sections entitled "Authorities" and Cross-References" were refreshed.
• Hyperlinks were added.

How was it developed?

These changes result from the review of CSC policies conducted by the Management Structures and Deployment Standards Team at NHQ.

Note: The Fire Safety Manual, which is referenced in this CD, has not yet been amended to reflect the structural changes; however, an overall review of the document is currently being conducted which will include these changes and other amendments.
