GUIDELINES 712-1-1 - CCRA SECTION 84: APPLICATION PROCESS

Why was the policy changed?

These guidelines were developed as a result of an evaluation of the Aboriginal Community Development Officer (ACDO) initiative. The evaluation report recommended that CSC should establish clear guidelines regarding Section 84 release planning.

How was it developed?

The Aboriginal Initiatives Directorate developed these guidelines in consultation with ACDOs, Regional Administrators of Aboriginal Initiatives, EXCOM, Legal Services Branch, Linguistic Services, and Strategic Policy Division.
