WHO ARE WE?
- The Community Employment Centers (CECs) provide cost effective employment counselling and placement services for recently released offenders in communities across Canada.
- Providing employment counselling and training on how to find a job helps offenders to safely reintegrate back into the community once they leave prison.
- Research and our own data show that JOB READINESS is critical for offenders about to re-enter the workforce.
- Those with fewer barriers to employment are less likely to be revoked or suspended.
