Lorrisa Donahue - By the age of 14, Lorrisa found herself working the streets of Vancouver trying to support her drug addiction, her mother was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Physically and emotionally drained, Lorrisa turned back to drugs as a coping mechanism after the death of her mother. Within Three months she had lost everything, dropped out of school, stopped working and was once again working the streets to support her drug addiction. It was during this spiral downhill that she ended up in prison serving a two year sentence for armed robbery. Jane Orydzuk - Jane's journey after the sudden loss of her only son, who was murder. Along the way she found peace and the true meaning of forgiveness with her involvement in Restorative Justice. She is currently the President of the Victims of Homicide Support Society Colleen Lynch - Recently resigned as Women's Reintegration Chaplain, has been an active participants in resolving matters from the restorative approach. |
