The Ron Wiebe Restorative Justice Award is presented to an individual or a group who models restorative justice principles in the service of justice and peace. Since 1999, this award honours the late Ron Wiebe – former CSC Warden of Ferndale and Elbow Lake Institutions – for his inspiration and commitment to the field of restorative justice.

2011 National Ron Wiebe Restorative Justice Award Recipient

CSC is pleased to announce Mr. Dave Hill, Assistant Chief Crown Prosecutor and Coordinator, Restorative Justice Initiatives with the Alberta Justice and Attorney General as the 2011 recipient of the National Ron Wiebe Restorative Justice Award.

This year’s award was presented on Monday, December 14, 2011 as part of the National Restorative Justice Symposium in Kamloops, British-Columbia.
