Psychology internships

CSC offers one-year accredited clinical psychology internships in the Ontario Region.

Two positions are available in Kingston, Ontario. They subscribe to a practitioner/scholar model. They:

  • focus on the development of a range of generalist skills and abilities applicable in a wide range of clinical settings
  • prepare students to meet competency requirements for a practice in correctional/forensic psychology

About the organization

CSC is the federal government agency responsible for administering sentences of two or more years. There are more than 50 psychology positions in the Ontario Region. Psychologists provide clinical, counseling and correctional/forensic services to men and women offenders. They help both incarcerated offenders and those released (on parole) to the community.
