Employment equity and diversity committees

The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) is committed to developing and maintaining a strong and diverse workforce that reflects the wider Canadian community we serve.

We are dedicated to making sure that our facilities function in an inclusive way that values the merits and strengths of all our employees. As a result, Employment Equity and Diversity Committees have been established in all six regions – Pacific, Prairies, Ontario, National Headquarters, Quebec and Atlantic.

These Committees are made up of volunteers. All CSC employees are encouraged to share their stories of diversity and to actively participate in initiatives organized by the Committees throughout the year.
