Learn about the federal correctional system in Canada. The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) is responsible for managing institutions of various security levels and supervising offenders under conditional release in the community.
Are you planning on visiting an inmate? Family and friends are encouraged to maintain contact with inmates throughout their sentence.
As of April 9, 2019, Correctional Service Canada recruits receive an allowance of $400/week, up to a maximum of $5,600 for 14 weeks, during the third stage of the Correctional Training Program (CTP).
