Why was the policy developed?

An amendment was made to include gender-inclusive pronouns for the definition of Reliability Status and Security Clearance in Annex A.

The Resolution of Doubt Committee definition was modified in Annex A to provide clarity.

In Annex A, the definitions for Reliability Status and Security Clearance were amended to include gender-inclusive language.

In Annex A, the definition of the Resolution of Doubt Committee has been modified.

How was it developed?

This policy was created following a review by the Strategic Policy and Departmental Security Divisions. Due to the nature of the change, there were no consultations.
