Upcoming evaluations over the next five fiscal years (SDS)
Given the implementation of the new Treasury Board Policy on Results and the phasing-in of related changes, Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) has provided the option for large departments and agencies to submit an evaluation schedule that covers one or more years, to the full five years. CSC has opted to provide a five-year plan, with upcoming changes and restructuring anticipated for 2018-2019.
The format of the current Departmental Evaluation Plan (DEP) has been restructured from previous years to better reflect its purpose. The document is aligned with CSC's corporate reports in terms of a common look and feel and the overall movement toward simplified, straightforward reporting methodologies. Given that this is a transition year within which corporate tools and program inventories are being updated, a more standardized format for the DEP will be implemented with the new plan in 2018-2019.
The DEP is scheduled for review and approval at the PMEC meeting on Mar 16, 2017. It will be posted on this site as soon as it is approved.
